Mini-Grants Applications - Deadline is August 8, 2008
Applications for the 2008-09 Mini-Grants are now being accepted! You can apply for a maximum of $1,200 for facade improvements to properties within the Main Street District. Contact the Main Street office at 338-9144 for more details.

MSH Receives Heritage Grant
Main Street Helena recently received a Heritage Grant in the amount of $10,000 from the Department of Arkansas Heritage. This grant is to help support Main Street Helena's efforts with the Delta Bridge Project.

New Businesses!
Main Street Helena welcomes two new businesses to downtown. Brad Bishop opened Little Biscuit Productions, a full-service recording studio, in May. The latest addition is Quapaw Canoe Company, owned by John Ruskey, which offers canoe & kayak rentals. Welcome to downtown Helena!

Delta Geotourism Incentive Act of 2007
This incentive program provides a limited rural income tax credit to persons or entities that invest in geotourism-supporting businesses that attract and accommodate out of state visitors.
Best New Downtown Business
Cotton & Kudzu Mall, located at 413 Cherry St., was the recipient of the “Best New Downtown Business”, given at the Main Street Arkansas Awards banquet in January, 2008.
AT&T Excelerator technology grant
Main Street Helena is the recipient of an AT&T Excelerator technology grant of $2,500. The grant will be used to purchase a laptop computer, power point projector, and software that can be used to make public presentations.
