New Restaurant Opens

Downtown Helena's newest restaurant, The Blue Tulip, opened on August 5. It is located at 115/117 Cherry St., formerly River Road Restaurant. They are currently open for lunch, and will be open for dinner in September. We are thrilled to have this new addition to downtown!

Arkansas Blues & Heritage Festival

This year Main Street Helena will be managing the store for the Arkansas Blues & Heritage Festival, located at 233 Cherry St. That means that every time someone buys a t-shirt, cap, or mug they will be supporting Main Street Helena, as well as the Festival.  Check out the festival at www.bluesandheritagefest.com.

MSH Receives State Farm Grant

Main Street Helena has received a $12,000 grant from the State Farm Good Neighbor Citizenship Program to replace windows on the building at 227/229 Cherry St. This building is being renovated to provide retail space and upper floor housing.

Delta Geotourism Incentive Act of 2007

This incentive program provides a limited rural income tax credit to persons or entities that invest in geotourism-supporting businesses that attract and accommodate out of state visitors.
